Atestan adds a layer of proof on top of the email you already use; it does not replace it. What you can connect to is just that: an API, a way to check a request, the registry behind it, the public record that locks evidence in, and the rules a company posts in advance.

The API
The programmatic boundary for systems that need to issue or examine evidence — so a critical-request workflow can carry proof without being redesigned around a new communication system. Built and tested; it runs publicly and is not open to a client.
How you check a request
How a recipient examines the evidence attached to a request. It is deliberately evidence-oriented: it shows what can be established rather than asserting that a request is valid. The page is deployed at its permanent address and reaches its service; with no seal issued, it says that no seal matches a code.
The registry
The record layer the later levels need. Its core is built and tested and a service runs it publicly, with no organisation enrolled; no production registry is anchored.
A public record no single party controls
What would let evidence be reconstructed later without trusting either party. It belongs to level E and is not implied by a request having been sealed. Specified, not built.
Rules posted in advance
In the model, the rules a company posts in advance are part of this too, and they keep two things apart cleanly: the request says what is being asked; the posted rules say what the company has promised to seal. They are designed to be readable without the request in hand.
Where Atestan sits
Above the mailbox you already have. We are not an email provider, and we never will be.

We do not claim to replace anything
Atestan sits beside critical workflows as the proof they carry. It does not replace ordinary email security, identity systems, financial controls or approval steps, and we do not describe it as connected to any product until that connection has been built and documented.
